چکیده
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are noncoding RNA molecules that play a significant role in atherosclerosis pathogenesis through post-transcriptional regulation. In the present work, bioinformatic analysis using TargetScan and miRdB databases was performed to identify miRNAs targeting three genes involved foam cell (CD36, Vav3, SOCS1). A total number of hundred sixty-seven were recognized only miR-155–5p selected for further evaluation based on Venn analysis. Another objective this study evaluate biological process regulatory network associated with DIANA, DAVID, Cytoscape, STRING tools. Additionally, comprehensive literature review prove function atherosclerosis. might be related ox-LDL uptake endocytosis macrophage by CD36 Vav3 which showed from KEGG pathways hsa04979, hsa04666, hsa04145 H, hsa04810, GO:0099632, GO:0060100, GO:0010743, GO:001745. Furthermore, also predicted increase cholesterol efflux inhibit SOCS1 expression pathway hsa04120. Eleven original studies included strongly suggest inhibition.

Regulated expression of CD36 during monocyte-to-macrophage differentiation: potential role of CD36 in foam cell formation.
CD36 is an 88-kD integral membrane glycoprotein expressed on monocytes, platelets, and certain microvascular endothelium serving distinct cellular functions both as an adhesive receptor for thrombospondin, collagen, and Plasmodium falciparum-infected erythrocytes, and as a scavenger receptor for oxidized low-density lipoprotein and apoptotic neutrophils. In this study, we examined the expressio...
متن کاملMiR-96 induced non-small-cell lung cancer progression through competing endogenous RNA network and affecting EGFR signaling pathway
Objective(s): Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has become a serious global health problem in the 21st century, and tumor proliferation and metastasis are the leading causes of death in patients with lung cancer. The present study aimed to verify the function of miR-96 and miR-96 in relation to competing with endogenous RNA regulatory network in NSCLC progression inc...
متن کاملCD36 and macrophages in atherosclerosis.
CD36 is a multi-ligand scavenger receptor present on the surface of a number of cells such as platelets, monocytes/macrophages, endothelial and smooth muscle cells. Monocyte/macrophage CD36 has been shown to play a critical role in the development of atherosclerotic lesions by its capacity to bind and endocytose oxidized low density lipoproteins (OxLDL), and it is implicated in the formation of...
متن کاملmTOR signaling promotes foam cell formation and inhibits foam cell egress through suppressing the SIRT1 signaling pathway
Atherosclerosis (AS) is a chronic immuno‑inflammatory disease accompanied by dyslipidemia. The authors previously demonstrated that sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) may prevent atherogenesis through influencing the liver X receptor/C‑C chemokine receptor type 7/nuclear factor‑κB (LXR‑CCR7/NF‑κB) signaling pathway. Previous studies have suggested a role for mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) signaling in the...
متن کاملD4F alleviates macrophage-derived foam cell apoptosis by inhibiting CD36 expression and endoplasmic reticulum stress-CHOP pathway
This study was designed to explore the protective effect of D4F, an apolipoprotein A-I mimetic peptide, on oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL)-induced endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress-C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP) pathway-mediated apoptosis in macrophages. Our results showed that treating apoE mice with D4F decreased serum ox-LDL level and apoptosis in atherosclerotic lesions with conc...
